The purpose of this posting is to discover if there is any power in blogging,and if so,to use it HERE and NOW,for NOW is when it is most useful.The power HERE is to make what is not seen to be seen...as it occurs.This is occuring in my little hometown of New Bern.
One can note that the most common notice in the LEGAL section of most newspapers is foreclosers and other such transactions dealing with real estate in which the local county clerks in the little towns across our state make decisions using the power of the office of the SUPERIOR COURT.
Real estate is one of the most expensive commodities on the market.Often unseen,individual's inheritances are seized by this judicial power and the fate of this most expensive commodity is left in the hands of that little old lady sitting next to you in your local church who has been elected to such a powerful position.Just how many secrets does she sit there with?
Obviously,land and home is one of the greatest treasures you and I will ever have,and one of the most expensive.Many of us spend most of our lives working daily to pay for and upkeep our humble abodes.Due to the value of home and property,one will find at a certain time the need for legal service of some sort.And so one will find that one of the most expensive attorneys of all is the estate attorney and this one wants all his fees up front.And so,we can understand HERE just how strong a power that little old lady wields over those who are unprepared financially to protect a matter so seemingly small as inherited property from a deceased relative.
So many things happen down at that little office.So many files are there.So many are listed in the paper in that little legal section.So many opportunities await for those that know where to look,and to those which that little old lady chooses to tell.It appears to be a seemingly small matter,because we really do not see it happening at all.But it is there in those little ads that that little old lady posts in the legal section with all that legal jargon.They call the debtors forth and then they sell it at auction.But some is sold at private sale.Like my inheritance.And since I am poor,there is nothing I can do about it.Except this...get myself some public feedback...right HERE,right NOW...from you.I believe YOUR comments will make all the difference in the world.Because that little old lady won't really like it.She won't be sneaking 'round behind my back.
This is happening HERE and NOW.So I need your comments please...HERE...NOW.Anything will do,make it nice or make it mean,but make them,and make them often.She'll be reading what you have to say too.And so will her friends,and you know who they are,the one's that will buy my little boyhood home out there in the country with that little old CROATAN STATION on it.

I have recieved a response from the Craven Courthouse from my request to remove the present administrator of my deceased brother's estate.They have granted him possession,custody and control of the real property.He is allowed to proceed with advertising,listing,soliciting,negotiating and accepting offer for PRIVATE sale of the real property.
No one is telling me when the administrator will sale my inheritance,or to who.
Could anyone call and ask them,those clerks down at the courthouse,when they are letting my inheritance be sold in private.
I will appreciate any assistance in this matter since I am too poor to even attempt to protect my interest in this matter.
Here are the details : The real property comprised of approximately 1 1/2 acres of land,including fixtures and improvements, located at 194 Catfish Lake Road,New Bern,Craven County,North Carolina,more particularly described in the Deed recorded in Book 2124,Page 102,Craven County Registry,and further identified as County Parcel ID 6-011-003-A,the tax value of which is $99,611.
You know when I was a kid growing up there,we used to go back to the old fort located on the back portion of the property. They call it Croatan Station today.We'd dig up bayonets and all types of goodies.Jeff said that the big land owner next door,offered him $250,000.00 for that piece of fort.He said he needed it to trade to the Forestry for access to that new development he's taking his time getting 'round to build,with all them new jobs and such.But Jeff would tell him no,'cause that old fort was worth a million.He said he wanted to use this here land and offer time shares there for people to vacation for $2,000 a pop.They'd be nice and quiet on Catfish Lake Road,so far from the city.But they could play golf down the road since the Carolina Pines was right next door to that Flanner's Beach across the street there.I used to walk over there in the evenings with Mom and we'd play in the Neuse River.I'm told they are putting in that hwy. 70 by-pass to where it comes just about right to Jeff's front door too.Jeff always said that those that would time share from him could get to the Atlantic Ocean in about ten minutes once that by-pass was in.My favorite spot was always Catfish Lake right down the road a piece,or one of those other big lakes when we'd hike through The Croatan National Forest out the side door.Jeff said he used to take that back road short-cut to Cedar Point on the coast and his lodgers could do the same.Just think,thousands of acres of hiking,biking,four wheeling,fishing and all that.
I really don't know why that them people want to take my inheritance and give...I mean sell it to someone privately,and then me not knowing when or to whom.I think it should be sold publicly so people can bid on it.But,they told me they don't agree to that,so what can I do being so poor and all.Maybe you can call and ask them for me.If you find out when that sale will be held in private,maybe someone will offer a little more to that administrator for it.I understand that any such sale is subject to an upset bid on the same conditions and in the same manner as is provided by N.C.G.S. 1-339.25 regarding public sales.That means if someone wants it for a great investment opportunity,since that's where everything is gonna be growing and developing at,just let them know down at the courthouse,and you can get it.You can fly in cause the airport's right down the road that Jeff said all those time sharer's were gonna be flying in from.Tell them Gordon sent you.
