Coastal Federal Credit Union and Executive Office Suites Sponsor “Secure Your ID” Day
Coastal Federal Credit Union and Executive Office Suites at Lafayette Village will serve as presenting sponsors of the BBB “Secure Your ID” Day event on Saturday, October 19, 2013. The shredding and electronics recycling event will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in two locations: Coastal's headquarters at 1000 St. Albans Drive and Executive Office Suites at Lafayette Village at 8480 Honeycutt Rd.
This is the eleventh consecutive “Secure Your ID” Day event the credit union has sponsored and the seventh time it will host the event at its headquarters. Executive Office Suites at Lafayette Village will host the event for the first time. Both are dedicated to creating opportunities for the community to safely dispose of personal documents and electronics containing sensitive information.
“We are thrilled that Coastal continues to host our event and are excited to have Executive Office Suites joining us this fall,” says Toby Barfield, president and CEO of BBB serving Eastern North Carolina. “Based on consumer demand, we are pleased to add a second location.”
PROSHRED® Security and A Shred Ahead® will provide free, on-site document shredding. Participants are encouraged to bring up to three boxes or bags of documents that have been removed from binders. GEEP will also be on hand to provide electronics recycling including computers, tablets, and cell phones, as well as electrical devices like TVs, microwaves and vacuums.
