Implus Grows Partnership with The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic

Implus, an innovative leader in footcare and outdoor accessories, is proud to announce it has renewed its partnership for a third year with The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic as Associate Sponsor of the Friday Night Parings Party/Reverse Raffle and ticket sponsor for Sunday’s Golf Classic.   

“The V Foundation for Cancer Research and The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic has loyal supporters nationwide and we are honored to partner with a local organization that has such a strong impact across the country,” said Todd Vore, President of Implus. “The Golf Classic is an event we look forward to each year and we are proud to continue supporting its efforts to push awareness and a cure for cancer.”

Implus will host a social media promotion as part of this year’s benefit towards First Responders (to 9/11) affected by cancer. Fans can nominate local first responders who have made an impact in their lives or community by sharing their story on Facebook. Implus will donate tickets for The Classic to each of the first responder teams nominated, as well as tickets to the fan that nominated them, while supplies last. Sof Sole, a division of Implus that specializes in performance insoles and footwear accessories, will host the promotion on its Facebook page, www.facebook.com/sofsole.      

Implus is also Court Sponsor for the Jimmy V Racquets for Research, an event popular among tennis enthusiasts in the area, on September 15, 2012, at North Hills Club. The company believes in the importance of being a true community partner and reaches out to a number of worthy charities locally and across the country through multiple brands.

Each year, The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic brings together celebrities, national and local sponsors, and over 300 volunteers to raise money for The V Foundation for Cancer Research. This year’s sponsors and celebrities will gather in Raleigh at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the Centennial Campus of NC State University on August 26, 2012.
