Raleigh, N.C. (July 19, 2011)– Mark your calendars now for A Sophisticated Soiree as the 11th annual Big Bad Ball takes center stage at the Capital City Club on September 29, 2012. Presented by the Capital City Club’s Young Executives, the annual black tie gala will be raising funds for Hospice of Wake County’s Benevolent Care Program and the Horizons Grief Center, which provides necessary end-of-life care for terminally ill patients and their families.

“The Big Bad Ball is one of our premier fundraising events each year,” said Michael Blanchard, Vice President of Development, Hospice of Wake County. “The proceeds help us ensure quality, compassionate care for the sick and dying through our hospice services and a safe, comforting place to heal for grieving families through our bereavement program.”

Tickets purchased prior to August 31 are $100 per person. Tickets purchased after August 31 are $125 per person.

Attendees of the 11th anniversary fundraiser can expect to dance the night away to two of the Triangle’s hottest bands, tHE.DESIGN and The Casablanca Orchestra. There will be five open bars where the club will provide guests with their favorite beverages.  Attendees can refuel with a wide selection of hors d’oeuvres, food from a pasta station and carving station, desserts and the popular late night breakfast. All guests have an opportunity to win valuable door prizes provided by Fink’s Jewelers. Bidding through Bid Pal for silent auction items will keep guests busy until the 50/50 raffle. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for $10 each or 12 for $100.
